Is Supabase Good as a Cloud Database? Plan ko kasi siya gamitin sa capstone namin na baka ma implement yung system and worth it ba yung pricing?

Yes! Currently using its free tier for database and authentication. Good siya for repid backend development. Although mas maganda pa rin yung manual backend development.

yes, worth it siya lalo na for capstones. ginagamit din siya ng maraming indie devs. yung free tier is generous, then if ma-implement talaga at lumaki yung users, pwede ka na mag-upgrade later. malaking plus din yung built-in auth, storage, at postgres database.

For me, worth it ang Supabase, lalo na kung capstone o thesis ang gagawin niyo. Ginagamit ko rin siya sa personal projects kasi mabilis i-setup at generous yung free tier. Hindi mo na kailangan mag-manage ng server, kaya mas makakapag-focus ka sa paggawa ng system. Kapag lumaki na yung project, okay pa rin yung pricing.

Ang downside lang is hindi ka masyadong matututo sa backend implementation. Dahil ready na ang auth, database, storage, at APIs, mababawasan yung exposure mo sa paggawa ng backend from scratch. Kung goal niyo ay makapag-deliver ng working system, solid choice ang Supabase. Pero kung ang goal niyo ay matuto ng backend, mas okay gumawa rin ng sarili kahit isang project.
