Privacy Policy

App Builders PH is a community directory for apps built by Filipino developers. This policy applies to our website and iPhone and iPad app.

What we collect

• Account data. Google and Apple sign-in provide your name and email address, and Google may provide a profile photo. Apple lets you use Hide My Email. We never receive your Apple or Google password. Accounts provisioned with email sign-in store a password hash, not the password itself.
• Public profile and content. Your username, profile information, links, photos, app listings, reviews, forum posts, and replies are public when you publish them. Upvotes and saved apps are stored with your account. Saved apps are private.
• Community safety. We store reports, snapshots of reported public content, report reasons, moderator decisions, and the users you block. Reports are available to authorized moderators. Your blocked-user list is private.
• Mobile sessions. The app stores its access token in the iOS Keychain. The API stores a hash of that token and a device label for session management. For Apple sign-in, we keep an encrypted authorization token so we can revoke Apple's authorization when you delete your account.
• Support and service logs. We receive the details you submit when contacting support. Our hosting providers process request and security logs, which may include IP addresses, to operate and protect the service.
• Cookies. The website uses cookies to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The mobile app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use and share it

We use this information to run the directory, sync your account and saved apps, count votes, respond to support requests, and prevent spam and abuse. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Apple and Google process sign-in under their own privacy policies. Our hosting, database, and storage providers process data to deliver the service. Public images can be accessed by URL. The app's external links open other services that have their own privacy policies. Service providers must protect personal information and process it only for the services they provide to us.

Retention and deletion

We retain account information while your account exists. You can delete your account in the mobile app from Account → Delete Account, or on the website from Settings → Account. Deletion removes your profile, listings, posts, reviews, votes, saved apps, blocked-user list, uploaded profile and app images, and active sessions. For Apple accounts, we revoke Apple's sign-in authorization as part of deletion.

Moderation reports and decisions may be retained for community safety after account deletion, with the deleted account's identifier removed. Previously copied public content, backups, and hosting logs may remain for their retention periods. Contact us if you need help removing remaining personal information.

Your choices

You can browse without signing in, update your public profile on the website, sign out, remove saved apps, block or unblock users, and report content. Use account deletion to stop our use of your account data and disconnect your Apple authorization. You can also manage connected apps in your Apple or Google account.
