4ps-Nexus

4Ps-Nexus is a next-generation, blockchain-powered disbursement system designed to revolutionize how the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) distributes the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) cash grants.

Built on the Stellar network and Soroban Smart Contracts, 4Ps-Nexus ensures that government subsidies are transparent, fraud-resistant, and spent exactly as intended. By tokenizing the cash grants into programmable digital assets, the system restricts spending to authorized merchants (e.g., groceries, pharmacies, and schools), completely eliminating the misuse of funds for gambling, alcohol, or non-essentials.

Key Features:

 Biometric Smart Accounts: Beneficiaries don't need to learn about crypto or manage seed phrases. They can access their wallets and sign transactions securely using their smartphone's FaceID or Fingerprint (WebAuthn/Passkeys).

Programmable Money & Merchant Whitelisting: Smart contracts enforce strict rules so beneficiaries can only spend their grants at DSWD-approved partner merchants.

 Offline-Ready QR Payments: Beneficiaries can generate a signed transaction via QR code even without an active internet connection, which the merchant can then scan and relay to the blockchain.

Real-Time DSWD Dashboard: Provides government agencies with a transparent, on-chain audit trail of all disbursements, dramatically reducing corruption and ghost beneficiaries.

Dual Ecosystem: Comes with a Web App for DSWD admins and Merchants (built with Next.js) and a Mobile App for the beneficiaries (built with React Native/Expo).
