That’s why I built DomoSkills, an open-source agent skills marketplace and CLI package manager designed to give AI coding agents structured, reusable engineering knowledge beyond generic prompts.

DomoSkills currently provides 1,000+ skills across frontend, UI/UX and design, backend, fullstack, security, DevOps, cloud, AI/ML, databases, testing, mobile, and developer productivity.

These skills provide guidelines, best practices, constraints, anti-patterns, and implementation knowledge to help agents make more informed engineering decisions.

The goal isn’t simply to generate more code. It’s to help developers guide AI toward software that is more thoughtful, secure, maintainable, and aligned with sound engineering practices.

DomoSkills is open source because engineering knowledge should be shared, improved, and accessible to developers and AI agents alike.

Let’s move beyond asking, “What prompt should I use?” and start asking, “What does my agent need to know to build this well?”
