Planning a trip means four tools at once — notes for the itinerary, a budget app to cost it, maps to find the places. Nothing holds the whole shape of one trip: what it costs, when each piece happens, and where on earth it all is.

Gala holds all three.

• Itinerary — each day is a list of to-dos with an estimated cost and optional times. Stays and travel span the trip instead of hiding inside one day.
• Budget — a ceiling per trip, with the planned total split across bookings, itinerary, and bag, so you see what is fixed and what is trimmable.
• Map — every place in the plan becomes a numbered pin, joined into a route in date order.
• Ratings — close a trip and write it back: stars, a note, and what a row actually came to.
• Explore & Copy — publish a trip as a post, or copy someone else's plan into your own account and make it yours.

Money in Gala is always planned, never tracked. No expenses, no receipts, no discipline asked of you mid-trip. Getting the plan right before you leave is the whole point.
