Glyft

Glyft is an open-source, local-first graphics editor for creating social cards, Open Graph images, web assets, and other project visuals directly in the browser.

It provides a familiar canvas-based editing experience inspired by tools like Figma and Canva, while focusing on developer workflows, privacy, and fast exports. Projects are stored locally, so users can work without uploading their designs to a server.

Glyft supports exporting designs as PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG, and reusable .glyf template files. The editor currently includes text, shapes, images, layers, alignment tools, snapping, history controls, and reusable templates.

Unlike general-purpose design platforms, Glyft is designed as a lightweight, open-source tool for developers and makers who need to create project graphics without switching between multiple applications.
