Understand your air before you step outside.
It started with a simple concern: haze and smoke from environmental events can travel across borders and affect the air people breathe. But air-quality data is often difficult to understand.
HazeGuard makes it simpler.
Users can detect their current location or search for a city or municipality to check estimated:
US AQI, which shows how clean or unhealthy the air may be
PM2.5, tiny particles commonly linked to smoke, haze, fires, and pollution
PM10, larger airborne particles such as dust and smoke
HazeGuard then transforms these environmental measurements into simple, practical guidance to help users better understand the conditions.
The platform uses modelled atmospheric data, meaning the results are estimates and not direct readings from a physical sensor at the user's exact location.
Built as a solo developer project from Basilan, Philippines, HazeGuard explores how AI, environmental data, and location technology can make invisible environmental problems easier for people to understand.
Know your air. Protect what matters. Breathe better.
