Laki - POS & Inventory (CLOSED TESTING)

Sell, track utang, and see your profit — even with no signal.

About Laki - POS & Inventory (CLOSED TESTING)

A point-of-sale and bookkeeping app for small Philippine businesses that works with no internet connection. Everything is stored on the phone.

Selling

- Ring up a sale from a product grid or by searching name/SKU

- Barcode scanning to add items, with typed entry when the camera can't be used

- Bundles (several items sold as one at a combo price)

- Open-price items that ask for the amount at the counter

- Edit any line's price, quantity or discount before charging

- Cart-level discounts and reusable promo codes

- Several carts at once, so an interrupted customer doesn't block the queue

Getting paid

- Cash, bank transfer, GCash, Maya, QR Ph, card, and utang (credit)

- Deposits and partial payments, with the balance carried to the customer's account

- Every method works offline — nothing waits on a network

- Payment instructions and a QR image on receipts, so customers can pay directly

Utang (customer credit)

- An append-only ledger per person: charges, payments, running balance

- Debt aged — who owes what, and how many days late

- A "who to chase first" list ordered by how overdue the money is

- Reminders you can send over Messenger or SMS

- Credit always attaches to a named person, never a walk-in

People

One list for customers, clients, suppliers and buyers, with balances, history, phone contacts import, and role filters.

Catalog and pricing

Products and services in one catalog: cost, price, margin, SKU/barcode, photo, category, unit of measure (kg, sack, bottle…), and expiry dates for stock that goes off. Price and cost changes are logged, so past profit doesn't move when you reprice.

Stock

- Reserved on add-to-cart, deducted on payment, returned on cancel — two customers can't buy the last one

- Every change is an audited movement, never an overwrite

- Low-stock and expiring-soon warnings

- Suppliers and purchase orders, including partial deliveries and scan-to-receive

- Printable barcode labels

- Deleting a received order takes the stock back off the shelf

Deliveries

A queue between "sold" and "in the customer's hands": each row carries the receipt to pack against, a money flag (paid / COD / balance due / on credit) so nobody collects twice or not at all, a map pin that works offline, and hand-off to the driver's own map app.

Cash handling

- Cashier shifts: time in with a counted float, live expected-cash, denomination counter at close, over/short flagged

- Per-cashier attribution on every sale

- E-wallet balances tracked separately from the drawer

- Padala — cash-in/cash-out with fee tiers

- Expenses, and recurring invoices/service plans

Documents

Branded receipts, quotations, invoices and statements of account — as PDF or image, shared over Messenger, SMS or email. All generated on the phone, offline.

Knowing where you stand

Daily/weekly/monthly/custom-range totals; real profit with costs and expenses taken out, not just sales; profit per item and per job; where your money is (drawer, e-wallets, owed to you); trends; top items; CSV export for your books.

Your data

- Offline-first — every feature above works with no signal

- Stored on the device; nothing is sent anywhere by default

- Encrypted backup file (AES-GCM, passphrase) you can save to Drive or Messenger

- Optional cloud backup, encrypted before it leaves the phone — the server holds ciphertext it cannot read

- CSV import, full change history, and one-tap erase

Setup

Several businesses in one app with fully separated data, English/Filipino switchable any time, a five-question setup, a getting-started checklist, in-app how-to guides, and sample data for trying things without touching real records.
