NymStorm

NymStorm is an anonymous, asynchronous brainstorming platform built to strip hierarchy out of team ideation. Instead of live meetings where the loudest voice or highest title wins, NymStorm runs timed sprints where every contributor submits ideas under a randomly assigned alias — no names, no job titles, no seniority in sight.

Each sprint starts with a "How might we…" prompt. Contributors submit ideas on their own time, build directly on each other's threads, and occasionally get pushed past the obvious answer by system-injected wildcard prompts. When the sprint closes, voting happens one idea at a time, completely blind — ranked purely on what's written, never on who wrote it.

Once results are locked in, a facilitator-triggered reveal finally shows who said what — so recognition comes after the idea earns it, not before. The result: quieter voices get an equal shot, groupthink has less room to take over, and the ideas that survive are the ones that actually deserve to.
