Study Together
What is Study Group?
Study Group is a virtual co-study platform for students who want partners and focus—not another place full of lectures or notes.
If you’ve ever struggled to stay consistent alone, Study Group gives you a space to create or join study rooms, chat with people studying the same subjects, hop on a call when you need it, and keep each other on track with a shared timer and progress you can actually see.
Think of it as your online study table: show up, focus together, and build better study habits as a group.
Main features
1. Study Rooms
Create or join rooms by subject. Rooms can be public or private (with a password). Pick a topic, add tags, and study with people who share your focus.
2. Room Chat
Every room has its own chat. Talk about the lesson, share reminders, ask questions, or just check in—without leaving the study space.
3. Study Call (Camera, Voice & Screen Share)
Need a face-to-face study session? Hit Join Study Call. You can:
Turn on your camera
Use your microphone
Share your screen (notes, slides, problems, etc.)
The call is optional. Prefer quiet, text-only studying? Stay in chat. Want a live session? Join the call anytime.
4. Shared Pomodoro Timer
The whole room runs on the same focus and break timer. You study together on the same clock, so everyone stays aligned during focus time and breaks.
5. Friends & Invites
Search for classmates, send friend requests, and invite people directly into your room. Notifications keep you updated when someone invites you or accepts your request.
6. Progress, XP & Badges
Your study time counts. Earn XP, build streaks, level up, and unlock badges as you show up and study consistently. Your public profile can show how serious you are about learning.
If you want to try it out, feel free to check it out and let me know what you think!
Any feedback—whether it's about the features, UI, bugs, or ideas for improvement—is welcome!
Don't expect too much yet 😅, since everything is currently running on free-tier services.
