Thrive — a free platform for Filipinos trying to become Virtual Assistants
I built Thrive because I got tired of seeing the same thing happen over and over: someone wants to become a VA, they Google it, and they end up with 15 open tabs, three Facebook groups, and no actual plan. Or worse, they find a "mentor" who wants ₱2,000 upfront for a "training fee" before they've even landed a client.
So I built the thing I wish existed when I was starting out.
It's not a course. It's not a coaching program. There's no paywall hiding behind a "free trial." Everything on Thrive is actually free — a VA Readiness Check that tells you where you're actually starting from, a step-by-step roadmap instead of vague advice, and a set of tools I kept building because I kept running into the same problems myself: a resume builder, a cover letter generator that doesn't sound like a template, an invoice generator, a rate calculator, a portfolio builder you can actually send to a client.
There's also a Red Flags page, because half the "opportunities" new VAs get offered are scams, and nobody warns you what those actually look like until it's too late.
If you don't know where to start, there's a 30-day plan. If you already landed a client and don't know what happens next, there's a First 90 Days page for that too — the part nobody talks about.
I built this alone, and I'm still building it. It's not perfect, and I'd rather be upfront about that than pretend it is. But it's real, it's free, and it's made for people who are actually trying to figure this out — not for people trying to sell them something.
If it helps you, I'd love to hear about it. thrive.va.2026@gmail.com
