It's a native PowerPoint VSTO add-in, built in VB.NET, that hooks directly into PowerPoint's COM object model to turn Office itself into a lightweight worship presentation tool — no separate app to learn, no recurring SaaS bill. Volunteers work inside the same PowerPoint they already know.

On the pre-production side, it automates the tedious part: paste in lyrics, and it parses the text, auto-scales fonts, and distributes it across properly formatted slides — no manual copy-paste-resize loop.

The real unlock is live-service mode. Worship Tools ships with a built-in scripture database covering all 66 books across 19+ Bible versions. When a preacher calls out an unscripted verse, the media team searches and injects a fully formatted scripture slide in seconds, directly from the Office ribbon — without leaving PowerPoint, opening a browser, or breaking the flow of the service.
